Hurst shifter, will this work? same/different?

Someone wants me to put in a Hurst shifter. He bought a new one on Ebay from a man that only sells shifters with a good feedback.

He has a 1999 LS1 6 speed T/A

Bought part # 391-0061, box says 93-95, instructions say 93-96

Summit says Part# 391-5061 for 98-02 LS1 F-bodies

Seller states 93-02 all F-bodies T56

will this bolt up properly and it work right, whats different? anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I don't know for sure though man. I have not seen a 6 speed shifter that was designated for LT1 or LS1 use only. I thought they all would work the same.
