B&M Ripper shifter Question

Default B&M Ripper shifter Question
Hey guys,
I just got my B&M Rpper in the mail today and I had a question. When I ordered it it didnt ask for the year of the engine and tranny. When I got the shifter it has a sheet of paper in it that says for 1993-2000 T56 transmissions. I have a 2001 T56, does it matter. I know at some point the T56 changed slightly but I doubt that matter to the shifter , just wanted to make sure before I take it apart.

BTW I bought it from Thunder Racing if that matters.

Do yourself a favor and go bother with the shift stops. It only takes a few minutes to do and it's free insurance. Trust me.

I have a ripper in my 2002 Z, it works perfectly and yes, use the shift stops.Good luck!
