ls7 clutch

is that all that is needed because i'm planning on swapping my clutch since i have to swap my slae cylinder,i was thinking of getting a ls1 z06 clutch kit but was told that i can use a ls7 z06 clutch kit
I was going to post an identical thread about this. I can get a killer deal on the ls7 clutch assembly, and it is rated up to 500 hp, correct? I will also need to change out the slave cylinder and what else? pilot and throw out bearings? crush sleeve? Sorry if they are dumb questions but its my first hydraulic clutch. This is for an 01 SS with 71k miles, and all original clutch parts.

I am also looking at the LS7 clutch kit for my 02 Firehawk. I noticed that BYUNSPEED has a LS7 "kit" which includes the disk, pressure plate, and LS2 flywheel. But if you look at the picture, the disk looks totally different than the LS7 disk/plate you buy separately from him. The separate disk looks much more beefier than the kit.

How much will the extra 17 lbs hurt performance? Nice pictures, I will be getting one, just wondering about extra rotating mass. Will my 01 master work, only 20,000 miles on stock clutch slipping bad when racing, not bad on the street. I like that remote bleeder too, PITA bleeding on your back.

not trying to hijack, but how do you know if you're slave or master cylinders need replacing? i only have 21k on my car and stock clutch is slipping. gonna order the ls7 with a new shifter and just want to make sure i order everything i need for the install....
