Drill mod necessary for LT1 M6?

Drill mod necessary for LT1 M6? I've got a new LT1 style T56 thats going into my 79 Z28. I've heard of the drill mod being done on the hydraulics of the LS1, but is it necessary on the LT1 too? The car is using stock GM hydraulic master / slave.

Re: Drill mod necessary for LT1 M6? Yes, the LT1 hydraulics (very similar to the T5 hydraulics) can use the drill mod at the master cylinder end; not sure on the slave cyl. end. Good luck w/ your 79 Camaro swap.

Re: Drill mod necessary for LT1 M6? I have the McCleod Master Cylinder with my Street Twin, I didn't do the mod and mine works fine. Not certain what you will have to do buy doing the rebuild of the slave cylinder with the larger piston.
