How to identify a Hurst shifter?

Default How to identify a Hurst shifter?

Im about to swap my ripper for a hurst with a guy locally. My question is how do i make sure its a hurst?

the stick will also say hurst on the side

he can have a hurst shifter w/o the hurst stick. also someone can put a hurst stick on a stock shifter and try to fool someone. just make sure it looks like the one pictured and dont go by what the stick looks like. ive got a UMI short stick on my Hurst shifter.
