Default Toasted Clutch?

Was out the other night watching a z28 taking down a 636. Good Job Ant. Anyway pulled off the wet grass and got on it going throught the gears, felt like I spun everyone. Thought nothing of it and tonight took the car for a quick trip because something didnt feel right about last night. For about a 5 mile trip I was lucky to circle around and get home. When I tried to get on it in 3rd the car just reved up like I was in nuetral (foot being off the clutch). Now I knew something is wrong and headed home. I made it to my driveway before the car couldn't even start the incline of my driveway. So I pushed it into a spot next to the curb 5 minutes ago and now need your opinions. It sounds like the clutch definetly right?

even with a real clutch you will still need to change it after beating on it for a while, That why I switched.

Sounds like a sliping clutch, Put it on 6th gear and try to take off if the revs go way high with the car not moving then you know it's sliping.

A mcleod twin disc will be good but it's pricey.
