Driveshaft balance???

Default Driveshaft balance???

hey im wondering if you can get a driveshaft rebalanced??? my car is havin some vibration between shifts and its only when i get on it that it does it. But i am wondering since i am gonna keep modding my car i want to keep the steel driveshaft so i dont pretzel it up like the aluminum ones do. Has anyone ever done this????

and another weird thing is that its only really when i shift from first to second, then after that the vibration isnt really there, could i just be spinning my tires and since my exhaust is so loud dont rear it and my rear end is just jumping around??? lol.

Driveshafts can be rebalanced. What about a motor or tranny mount

Id do mounts 1st, then see about the DS.

tranny mount first, torque loads at the 1-2 shift are high. Before I did any suspension work, my car would go partially sideways on the 1-2 shift.

^^^What they said. But if it does turn out to be the driveshaft, steel is NO problem. NONE of the local driveshaft shops around me would even think about touching an alloy driveshaft, but steel was NO PROBLEM!!
