Spec spacer with LS7 clutch?

Anybody ever used the spec spacer with the LS7? Just trying to get the pedal a little further off the floor. Thanks.

Spacer will not help. Break it in a little more. Should start to feel bertter with a couple hundred city miles on it. If that don't help might be a bad slave or master.

i have the spacer, and all new hydralics, have it properly bled. with a spec 2+.... and its still right off the floor... i have heard its just one of those things.. and the only way to fix it is to get an adjustible master cyl.

LS7 clutch doesn't need a spacer. Second, it takes quite a bit of city break in miles to get it to move the pedal up. That or being stuck in traffic on a hill with a full car... seriously that's how I broke mine in, my clutch leg cramped during that time, but in that 1 hour of bumper to bumper, I got my clutch to move from right off the floor to 1/3 engagement.

After a week of daily driving, it was at near the half way point, it's still under it now even at 20k miles, but I've gotten used to it.

NO spacer.

If the clutch was installed properly like stock & bled good you shouldn't have any issues. Assuming you also replaced the slave while you were in there.

no spacer and feels like stock.

Its got like 7,000 miles on it. It has moved up a lot, but its still pretty close to the floor. I don't like the stock feel. I liked the spec engagement point better. The only good thing about that piece of sh!t clutch.

The reason I ask is that I have it all apart, swapping transmissions, and changing to an aluminum flywheel. I read a thread awhile back about a guy with the aluminum flywheel and ls7 and it wouldn't disengage, until he installed a spacer.

I would search for it, if I could get the new search to work.
