Cartek Clutch need help I have the cartek clutch and adjustable master cylinder in my 1999 Camaro ss. I'm running heads, cam and nitrous. My question is. What would cause my clutch to feel soft after I run the car hard through 4 gears? I've adjusted the clutch and it still does it. Do I need to replace the fluid or do I have slave problem?

Re: Cartek Clutch need help It could be several things. Slave could be going, could have air in the line, or the fluid could be getting too hot. I would try to route the line as far away from the exhaust as you can or maybe wrap it with header wrap. If that doesn't work then try to bleed it. Choose your method, there are many. Lastly, replace the slave. That is the hardest and most costly. Good luck.

Re: Cartek Clutch need help Ok, I've replaced the fluid and bleed the system. The clutch still gets soft after a hard run. I guess the only thing left is the slave.
