Is it really worth 1200 dollars getting my tranny built to hold 700 hp?? I mean they said the stock parts thats broke in my trans will cost 950 bucks!! Might as well spend lil bit more money and hold more power. What do you guys think. Iam i just waisting my money???

Is upgrading your transmission a good idea? Absolutely!

Is spending wayyy too much money on upgrades a good idea? Absolutely not.

Check out our VERY affordable transmission rebuild packages here: http://tick-performance.com/transmission/

Our Level Two will hold 700hp - anything more and we suggest our Level Three.

Check the sponsor feedback section for a few testaments from some very happy customers.

In your cause it would be foolish not upgrade. You're already going to spend at least $950, why not spend a little more and get a stronger trans?

Give us a buzz. We have some quick and easy packaging instructions (that don't involve making a crate!) and we have streamlined the entire shipping procedure to make it quick, safe, and headache free for both parties involved.

Well it would do a lil crunch when you put it in reverse, then it started doing it in 5th. They said my 5th, reverse, and 4th was worn. Oh and my blockers were shot too. It had royal purple in there and they said that it's doesn't work to well with these trannys.

My totally stock T56 held a a fair bit over 700rwhp, and seen me do my best passes.

I did eventually upgrade though....more for peace of mind than anything. Although I dont think you can ever gaurantee 100% reliability

Sorry guys I have been in the hospital for 2 days. He needed the package 1A $950, 4th Gear $239, 5th Gear $95, reverse gear $95 and 5/6 slider $95. His gears were really worn and we tore down while he waited since his truck broke down in our parking lot. I showed everything to him.

Now Joey if you can do it better and cheaper thats fine but I gave him a nice discount for being in town. I told him $1159.76 for everything.

We currently are running a six speeds inc tranny in our C5. 9.59@151 Joe and Amber had the transmission done in the same day we dropped it off They are a very good company!

If you're in Texas, I would def. go with Six Speed.

Tick builds a good transmission, so do we. But it's kinda silly to ship your trans across 5 states when you've got arguably the best T-56 builder in the country in your own state.

They are faster than hell too. Sent mine in and had it back in 10 days. That includes 3 days there and 4 back. Plus they have the first N/A t-56 fbody in the 8's.
