Clutch problems I have a 2002 Ram-Air TA that is all still factory equipment. I haven't changed anything - yet (no money). I've noticed that at times it doesn't want to go into second gear (even when the skip shift" light isn't on. Could my clutch be bad (and it's not my driving). Also, where's the best place to get a "skip shift eliminator" (price & quality)? Thanks.

Re: Clutch problems You can find thr skip shift eliminator from any supported vendor on this board. Just shop thru the vendors and find the cheapest one. Dont worry about quallity all it is is a plastic plug cover.
Are you grinding gears when you release the clutch? The car's transmision under warranty? If it is just take it in and be done with it, if not I would start by changing the ATF fluid in the transmision (REDLINE ATF.
I had difficulty putting the car into reverse and when I changed the oil it just glided into reverse.
Sometime the oil gets dirty and it makes shifts a little tougher.

Re: Clutch problems No, I don't typically grind gears when I release the clutch, but it has happened a few times when I've shifted into second. It's like it's not going all the way in gear good, and then when I release the clutch it pops out! It's still under warranty. Thanks for the info.
