Re: Bleeding (ahhhhhhhh!)
i just got through bleeding my clutch, still have a few air bubbles in it that i will go at tomorrow, but i didnt bench bleed the master(the new slave came pre-bled). i just disconnected the line that goes into the tranny, and pulled it up into the engine compartment(so it was the highest part in the line) and pushed in teh clutch while dad depressed the white fitting in the end of the line, and by like the 10-12th time pushin the clutch down while dad pushed in the white piece, we connected it back up to the tranny(no more air was comming out), and just seconds ago pulled it off the lift...pedal pressure is a little bit stiffer than stock. it drove well(up and down the driveway) and we are going to do the same thing one more time to make sure we got all the air out and then we will hit the streets. it does grab a little lower which makes dad and i think there is still a tiny bit more air in the line so we are gonna go at it again, but if i had to i coulda driven it today w/ out a problem. good luck
p.s. i installed a 01+ slave, mcleod dual disk w/ aluminum flywheel and a mcleod master
