Default To get a new flywheel or not...

When I purchase a new clutch.
What is the benifit of getting a new flywheel? I think I am going to go with the spec star stage III; I currently have 24k miles on a 2002 f-body that I intend to push to 450 rwhp in the near future.

BTW, I tried a search and didnt find what I was looking for.

Get the flywheel...

You have to at least resurface the old flywheel, which sucks on our cars since the flywheel is relatively thin.

BTW, my Spec III carbon came with a flywheel....

So did you get the ~$515 spec package?
Most other clutch/flywheel packages come with a $400 flywheel with a totlal cost of ~$800. What is different in the spec flywheel from others?

The spec flywheel I believe is the same as an OEM flywheel...
