Unhappy Slippy slippy clutch

Damn, ok so my clutch is slipping, just started though. It holds for daily driver, but if i roll on it or wot, its pretty bad feeling. So heres the question, can I use break parts cleaner on it, and will that work. I have heard some people say it works, and some have laughed. So I figured I will get on the interweb and ask the pros!

Its a spec stage 3+, and Im pretty sure its oil from my oil pan. I wll replace the oil pan gasket, but do you guys think a little break parts cleaner will work.

WS6...brake cleaner can be used to clean a CSM (Carbon-Semi-Metallic) disc without issue. Pull the assembly; clean the disc, plate, and flywheel, and while you are at check the wear by Mic'ing the disc thickness. Let me know what you find and feel free to send pics of the assembly if you want me to take a look. Thanks!

I had a similar issue. Put a new LS7 clutch in the car and a month later the crank freeze plug started leaking all over my new clutch. Pulled it apart and cleaned the friction REALLY well with brake cleaner for a few days. Reassembled after it was clean and the new plug was in. And no issues.
