clutch jumpy, need advice so i just got my car back new motor trans, and clutch, i put in a spec stage 2 clutch, i had the flywheel resurfaced, new master, and pilot bearing. So when i take of from a dead stop it jumps and i have to give it gas and peddle the clutch to make it smooth out, but when im rolling and running down the road it works fine, also when takeing of in reverse it jumps real bad shakes the whole car. i think that my mech. messed up either didn,t surface the flywheel right or the clutch was a dud. i feel i will need a new clutch. also if i need a new clutch, were is a good CHEAP site to buy a clutch for a 450hp car. i really don't want to pay big bucks i was looking at a ram, centerforce. i herd that the gm zo6 clutches work well if so were is a cheap place to buy one. my car is a 2001 ta. thanks
I just installed the LS7 clutch and so far so good. They are inexpensive too. A sponsor here that is good is SDPC. Do a search on the LS7 combo. It's $400.00 with a new flywheel.
