Shifting without the clutch.
I dunno about 2000 rpms, but it was either 1000 or 1500 rpms.. lets say it was 1500 rpms.... I could just shift 1 - 2 then get 2 back to 1500 rpms, then go to 3, then get 3 to 1500 rpms then shift to 4th, etc...
rev matching mmmmmm i used to be able todo it in my neon at any rpm's no grinding.. at all.. friend i sold it too brings it to 6800 everyday to lol..

I'm getting rusty, having not driven a stick in a while but it's like riding a bike, once you get it down, it never completely goes away. 
Plus with the Vette I'm re-learning real damn quick. Anyways, rev-matching is a bit hard on the transmission..I suggest using the clutch.

yeah, I second that. I forgot to mention all my uncles manual cars are trucks, an f-150 and an S10. I believe that makes a difference.
