Bell HOusing
They are really stuck on there sometimes. You need to carefully pry it from the block. There are small reliefs to pry it away from the block.Dont beat the crap out of it & take a chance of distorting it.

passenger side dowel pins are usually pita,they get stuck.laying down,facing up,grab it from top and bottom and see if you can wiggle it a bit.that is of course after you pry it away from the block and is still stuck.might want to take the starter out if its still in there.just be patient,take a break if it wont come out and go at it again.
