T-56 grinding when I shift I just changed my tranny fluid and I put in pennzoil synchromesh because before it was a little notchy when I shifted. Now it shifts great when I shift slow but if I shift fast at all it grinds? Could it be that the fluid is to slick? I read that the syncros need some friction in order to work properly. What is a good fluid to go with to try and slove this problem? Thanks

Was it grinding at all before you changed fluids if so sounds like its time to purchase a rebuild kit from sixspeedsinc try some royal purple if not convinced 9-10 dollars a quart but good stuff

Before it would grind every once in a while going into third but now it does it in almost every gear, but only when I shift fairly quick. I seen where sixspeed inc. sells the rebuild kit for $600 with free shipping how hard is the t-56 to rebuild?
