2nd gear questions

Hello, My second gear needed to get replaced so I order a new one. I got it today and after comparing it there a small difference, I dont know if it will affect anything. As you can see in the pics the teeth on the new gear are longer. Do i have to order a different one?

No that is the new style 2nd gear which is what most of us vendors use now. The new style is much stronger on the synchro teeth than the old one.
