Getting T-56 tweaked need help
Parts: Spec Stage 2 clutch, pressure plate, flywheel package, from D&D Perf. (new syncros, bearings, and 3-4 steel shift fork), 01 slave, and Redline fluid. Of course gonna need gaskets but gonna let tranny shop provide those.
Also gonna have them change the fluid in the rearend at the same time. Is there anything Im forgeting? Also if someone can give me an idea on labor. TIA. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
For a clutch R&R, I'd expect to pay 2 hours labor assuming nothing unusual pops up. I'd expect to pay at least $250 to R&R the tranny itself. It's a 3-4 hour job. Some places include a rebuild kit (on top of the D&D parts) on top of the labor charge. Last time I did it that kit was $200-250.
