clutch ?????? INSIDE

clutch ?????? INSIDE WEll I purchased everything to update my clutch:
SPEC stage III - ceramic
lightened pressure plate "4 lbs lighter"
Aluminum flywheel "Fidenza"
New hyd.'s
Drill mod
All new ARP bolts for assembly
"Everything bench bleed"
My question is the aluminum flywheel gonna affect my 1/4 mile times? After purchasing everything I started to wounder and read several confusing posts! I do race it and want my final outcome to be better so did I go in the wrong direction. I have enough HP and TQ and also a TNT 100 shot on top of everything. I have several friend's that have this flywheel and I do see somewhat of a "BOG" off of the line but all of their times improved and seen better results "because of the better holding power of the clutch not the flywheel". It does seem to launch with a "BOG" but they are all scared of their rear ends where I have a Strange 12 bolt with 4.11 gears. I do believe that their "BOG" off of the line is made up with faster reving engine's that allows them to power shift faster and therefore make up for the launch thru the 1/4 for a end result of it balancing out .Any input in greatly appreciated and if you run an aluminum flywheel post in and tell me about it. If this is not going to benefit me then I'll turn my stock one and sell this unit.. Here is my sig. so you can see how my car is built..

Re: clutch ?????? INSIDE You may lose a small amount on the launch...but you should have enough power to cover that. You will waste less horsepower accelerating the flywheel with the lightweight flywheel....and that leaves more horsepower to accelerate the car. I think you will see a gain at your power level. Is the new flywheel SFI approved? If so, it was worth doing for that alone. GOod luck!
