I got everything back together tonight and went for a drive. I was relieved my trans rebuild worked well, shifts very smooth.
I can tell the flywheel feels lighter, but not as much as I thought. I didn't get on it much with the new clutch, plus I haven't driven it in about 8 months (winter), so I can't dell a different that much yet. I will say it seemed to be a good quality piece for a good price.
Oh, and I went with a LS6 clutch I got a good deal on a couple years ago. My stock one lasted 102k and still looked ok when I took it out, so the LS6 should be fine for me.
