Default Wot Shifting Problem

I have a 98 z 6speed with twin disc clutch, adj.slave cylinder, and b&m shifter. When driving normal(not beating **** out of it) the trans shifter perfect and even when mildly on it but when wide open it doesnt want to go from any one gear to another with out some delay. It seems to me that it is usually when the rpm comes down a bit that i can finally get the next gear. any sugg. or idea would be appreciated...?????

do the clutch test.

Get on a perfectly flat surface

Put the car in 1st gear, not letting the clutch out.

Rev to 5.5k slowly, if the car rolls fwd, the clutch isnt disengaging.

You need an adjustible master cyl, also a good bleed couldnt hurt.

I had the same exact problems, but an adj master cylinder worked and fixed my problems.

I had the same problem recently with my Spec 3+. The clutch is probably not fully disengaging. I ended up having to put a different clutch in the car even though I have an adjustable master.

wonderful...lol. Im thinking the clutch may be my issue as well. Sucks that it was such an expensive clutch and it still grabbs good. What clutch did you go to?
