Default Shifter Bobbing

On my 1998 6 speed TA its got approx 96k on her, my shifter has been moving up and down in 1st 2nd and 3rd. Not forward and backwards, like towards my roof then back down probably travels half an inch to 3/4 an inch of travel. It was doing it for about a month only traveling 1/8" MAX usually less, then recently it got worse. No strange sounds are heard. It is more noticable under harder exceleration. Any ideas? I have not had time to jack her up and look at all the mounts, but I also have not seen or even heard of this before.

torque arm mount is bad or the transmount is not holding the trans inplace. both are simple fixes
