Noob With A Spec

IM NEW INTO THE WHOLE AFTERMARKET CLUTCHES. I GOT INSTALLED A SPEC 2 WITH THE FIDANZA FW. IT FEELS GOOD WHEN SHIFTING. REALLY SMOOTH AND FAST. FLYWHEEL IS FANTASTIC. CLUTCH FEELING IS GOOD TOO! BUT.......IS IT NORMAL FOR IT TO BOG IN FIRST AND REVERSE, U CAN SAY ON TAKE OFFS OR WHEN HAVING LOW LOW RMS ON A LOW GEAR....SUCH AS THE SKIP SHIFT. BUT MAINLY ON TAKE OFF. ITS REALLY ANNOYING. THE CLUTCH CHATTERS AND THE SHIFTER SHAKES AS WELL AS THE CAR....OTHER THAN THAT ITS ALL GOOD.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!

It sounds like you went with an aluminum flywheel. I had one in my Z28 for a while and hated it. Not enough rotating mass and the car would bog too easily. Bob

I have a spec 2 with the billet f/w and it does the same thing. I've just gotten used to it.

The "bog" you mention is normal when using an aluminum flywheel. All you need to do is raise your RPM's a bit when leaving from a stopped position and it should help. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!
