bench bleeding?
bench bleeding? Someone please fill me in.. Do i need a kit to do this or some special hoses with threaded ends to screw into the master?. This is for the hydrualic clutch system - planning to do the drill mod
Put the reservoir, line, and reservoir cap on. Fill the reservior completely with fluid. Pump the piston in different possitions till you don't get air bubbles in the reservoir anymore and you can't depress the piston. Install the master with the line and reservoir attached and full.
When I do it I stick something in the quick connect for the slave, to hold it open, then submerge it in a container of clean fluid. Once that's done I pump the master until no more bubbles show up in the container.
If you are replacing your slave, you can take the quick disconnect off the old slave by hammering out the dowel pin and use that. Or you can just stick a screwdriver in the quick connect.
