torque method

Default torque method

when tightening the arp bolts on the flywheel/clutch etc, do you loosen the bolts back up after each pass and then retorque to spec or just tighten to 15, 37, 74 without reloosening?

what do you mean loosen you shouldnt have to loosen stuff back up when your torquing.

some bolts i think are stretch to yield bolts which i believe you torque, loosen, torque again, loosen, and then torque to final. maybe not!? that's why i am asking! normally i just torque in phases but was thinking head bolts use the first method?!!

Do not loosen them. The goal is to pull the flywheel on the crank evenly.
