Hydrolics problem??

Hydrolics problem?? I have a Cartek clutch with their adj. master cylinder and their slave cylinder. I noticed that when I am racing, mostly on the bottle, that the release point of the clutch is closer(just about right on) the floor. If I drive "normally" for a while the release point will go back to the usual spot...towards the top of the pedal release. Any ideas what it could be?

Re: Hydrolics problem?? See if the hydraulic line is running close to the exhaust. You may be heating it up while racing. I seen some guys at the track come back with the pedal stuck on the floor until it cooled off.

I am using DOT 5 and have the line covered with that heat sheilding stuff, so I know its not getting hot. DOT 5 has a higher boiling point that 3 or 4. It comes with the dot 5 also
