Default need help. reverse lockout solenoid

to make this story short. 01 ws6 6 spd. I somehow wound up damaging what i am guessing is the reverse lockout solenoid, cause the stick is hard to move over to the right. But, at the same time, my speedo, odometer, and cruise all quit working at the same time as when i damaged the sensor. All this run off the same sensor or what? I somehow managed to get the torque arm in a bind up against the sensor and bent it pretty bad.(dont ask) i just replace this one sensor and will everything work again?

Check your fuses too. You might have popped one in shorting the sensor/solenoid out.

good idea. i found it strange how it all quit working at once. i thought the one sensor would just control the reverse lockout. do you know if it controls all those functions listed above?

Reverse lockout solenoid runs off the ENG SEN fuse, along with the MAF, skip shift and 02's - should throw a MAF code if it's open though. Maybe the fuse for the VSS?

It is possible to swap reverse inhibitor and skip shift plugs. This condition would cause a hard shift into the reverse gate but would not affect the VSS. I think there is a fuse problem.
