How long to "break" it in for?

How long to "break" it in for? A buddy of mine has ordered a new clutch and flywheel insert for his 96 ta (the black car in pofile pic). the throw out bearing well there was none when we took it out haha but he ordered and new zoom flywheel insert and a spec stage 3 clutch. He wants to know whats a good breaking in time? i told him about 500 miles or so but i drive an a4 so i want to see what worked for you guys.
Correct...500 miles of stop and go driving like a normal person. Each of our clutch kits come with a break-in sheet...so it should have been in the box. Either way...let us know if you need anything else. Thanks!
