Which is the rright slave PN?

Which is the rright slave PN? I have spoken with different dealers and half of the sponsors...some are saying the "145" slave is the new one and others are saying "288" is the new upgraded one does anyone have the right answer?

Re: Which is the rright slave PN? I don't know what the original P/N was for the 98/99 slaves, but there was a revision in 00. That first revision is the 288. They revised it again in 01, that is the 145 slave. You can get the full part numbers over at LS1.com. But you definitely want to get the 145 slave.

Re: Which is the rright slave PN? i've got the 12565145's and the 15046288's here on my shelves. GM did a part number change to the older# (98/99) part number for all the slaves now. pm or e-mail me if you need one.

Re: Which is the rright slave PN? That is what some of the places that I spoke with were telling me they are using the 288 and not the 145 and that the 145 is the old one and 288 is the new one. I already put in the 288 one and I will see how long that one is going to last...who knows

I know that I should have, but I might just get the 02 master and do the drill mod, I'm not getting a full throw maybe more volume of fluid will do the trick

Hey vents, I fixed the problem the car shifts fine now, the slave was in need of more fluid volume wise to get more throw, I changed the master and did the drill mod and all is well. I didn't have any mechanical problem before I changed my clutch and slave...the pedal stuck to the floor once and that was enough for me, I should have changed everything including the MC, I could drive the car but I would occasionally have to pump the pedal twice to get it into 1st or reverse. I called Spec and the tech said that I should change the MC also according to the notes sent in the clutch package, I just threw those aside and did the work...
