Default Should I replace pilot bushing?

Had to pull my spec clutch after only 2k miles this past weekend. I replaced the pilot bushing when I did the clutch so should I go thorugh the hassle of renting a pilot bushing removal tool and replacing it or will I be alright leaving it in. I inspected it throughly and it is still very smooth on the inside. Let me know what you think.

I usually recommend it, but given your very short service time I'd be OK leaving it in.

Looks like another happy Spec customer...

I say replace the pilot bearing EVERYTIME the transmission comes out. Just good insurance if you ask me.

Thanks,
Amber

Well I am using a bushing. There are no bearings that can go bad. I figure it can only get scratched up or worn down over time. It seems to be pretty smooth after 2k miles.

And for $5.00 for a bushing, I'd replace it.
