bleeding system anyone have suggestions Ok to start i took the old slave off and replaced it when i did this i cracked the bleeder and got rid of most of the old nasty fluid. Re-installed trans with new lave and t/o. First we did the pump pedal many times hold down crack bleeder then shut it (about 30 min) Next we tried to crack the bleeder then slowly push the pedal and then close it at the bottom and then let the pedal up and do it again (15 min). Lastly we got a vacume pump and made a fitting put it on the end of the bleeder and took the cap off the res. and pumped it makeing sure to top off the res. (30 min) and there is still no pedal at all. I have the drill mod and mcleod master 01 slave the master is about 4-5 years old we did it all on a hydraulic hoist. any suggestions would be great next thing i was going to try was to jack it up on the drivers side so the bleeder is higher up in the air and do the pedal pump method again.

What has worked best for me (disclaimer), is a Motive power bleeder, with the European adaptor, attached to the master cylinder, and then open the bleeder normally with the system pressurized to about 10 psi. Makes it a one man task. No pedal pushing required. Make sure to keep the master filled with new fluid as old fluid come out. Thats what I like to do. 20 minutes, tops.
