t56 question Hey,
My tranny is currently apart and awaiting the new syncros and bearing kit. Im also replacing the input shaft since it chipped some of the teeth.
Before the tranny was out fourth grinded sometimes which i assume is why the input shaft need replacement. The weird thing was that it was the only gear where the shifter could be put into gear (would just make grinding sound and not go in all the way) when the clutch was not pressed. Every other gear had some sort of stop. What causes this so i can replace it?
