Default My clutch bleed method

Ok so I needed to bleed my clutch the other day, and I figured I'd try something different. I got a 1/4 drive 11mm socket and a 1/4 to 3/8 drive adaptor and put that on the back of the 11mm socket. I then used a large vice grip plyers and clamped thoes onto the adaptor as hard as I could. I then opened up the bleeder, took off the tools, had the clutch pushed in and held, then put the sockets back on and reclamped the vice grip and tightened the bleeder. I did this several times and it seemed to work good. What do you guys think?

As long as you didn't pump the clutch with the bleeder open AND you didn't let the reservoir run dry, then you are fine. Unless you have some incredible dexterity either, I'd imagine you had a friend helping at the least.

Also, you need to visit a snap on tool truck because that contraption isn't necessary to open and close a bleeder.
