Default Anyone have problems with MTI Skip Shift Eliminator

I keep burning a fuse on my car and obviously, there is a short in there somewhere. It's the ENG SENS fuse that keeps burning. A friend mentioned it could be the Skip Shift Eliminator and he's heard of problems with MTI's piece. I'm going to take it off tomorrow and see if the problem goes away.

Mine has been on for 51,000 miles (my first mod) and still going strong. I have never heard of CAGS affecting other systems, only that the resistor in the CAGS burns out sometimes.

The silcone in the end of it got hot and melted somehow. There was just the open resistor exposed to the elements. It was probably touching the tranny somewhere. Dunno though.

just use the .50 cent resistor for your skip shift and wrap it up in electric tape and wire tie it up.
