rattle sound every time i shift when i let the clutch out and get back on the gas i have a rattle sound. i took it to carmax where i bought it and they said it was normal for that kind of tranny. any one had this before?

There is a small amount of launch rattle with the T56 . The best you can do with the std. rattle is to release the clutch faster and shorten the duration of time you are slipping the clutch. That said, it is also possible that you have a broken damper spring in the clutch and that is what you have a concern about.That will require a new clutchto fix.

thanks man. yea its not just at launch but through every gear. will the damper spring effect the performance of the car cuz it seems to still drive well it just rattles.
