Description:
STOCK 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS Hard Top Coupe, 62,xxx miles, Sebring Silver with Black Roof, Gray cloth interior, 6 speed manual transmission (with factory Hurst), Monsoon stereo with single in-dash cd player, 10 spoke wheels. Nicely optioned but does NOT have traction control, second owner, Texas car all its life, maintenance records available, slight bubbling on roof (known problem for 98-02 Camaro/Firebird and some Corvettes from this time period) BUT I have a BRAND NEW OEM roof still in the box complete with driver and passenger side triangular "appliques" and receipts for verification. Oxygen sensors replaced in 2008. New AC/Delco battery in 2012 and again in 2018. Clutch master cylinder and driver side power window motor replaced in 2014 with genuine GM parts. Car is super CLEAN, garage kept, and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
Driven sparingly but when I take it out, I run the A/C and heater to make sure they work (and they still do!). Fuel stabilizer added just for peace of mind. All preventative maintenance and repairs performed by same reputable shop since I bought the car in 2007. I have a detailed folder with receipts. Car comes with 2 sets of keys/fobs, complete tire jack and space saver spare,owner's manual, and I'll throw in the battery tender. Tires are Eagle F1, purchased on or about 2007 (no receipt). Tire size is P275/40R17.
Car also comes with Camaro SS floor mats (never used), steering wheel cover (steering wheel leather in excellent condition), and dash cover (dash in excellent condition with no cracks). I also have a few leftover plastic lug nut covers.
Items of note:
o Power: steering, brakes, locks, windows, side mirrors, hatch. Cruise control
o Skip shift still works
o Pics taken in 2010 but nothing has changed since then
o Slight rear main seal leak
o Bubbling on roof as noted above
o Driver door speaker will need replacing
o Carpet abrasion on drivetrain tunnel to the right of accelerator (see pic)
o 2 of 3 screws holding 3rd brake light to spoiler are aftermarket (see pic)Clean Carfax. Title in hand.

I've owned the car for 11 years and I've disclosed everything so holler at me if interested and we'll hash it out. Third party inspections are not a problem. I am located in El Paso, TX. First question: Not willing to sell roof only at this time. It goes with the car to new owner.
Second question: I wasn’t aware of a difference in hardtop roofs between the 93-97 and 98-02 cars. When I ordered it from the Chevy dealer back in 2010, I gave the parts guy the standard information (year, make, model, VIN) and his computer came back with part number 10253596.
Can’t believe how expensive these roofs are now via aftermarket vs what I paid for OEM back then!
