Description:
I was at one point considering a ProCharger setup for my T/A and was able to snag this damper off ebay for a good price brand new, but I decided to go the H/C/I route instead. It was a blem sale item, and I only have noticed one small chip on the A/C pulley and some machining marks on the a/c pulley as well, which ATI states are purely cosmetic. These go for $465 shipped new on Summit. Asking $340 shipped plus paypal fees firm via USPS Priority Mail.
From ATI:
"This damper is a an ATI PN918853. Fits only SBC LS1 and LS2 F Body engines and the V Body GTO with the LS1/2. Internally Balanced Engines. Damper Shell and Hub are Steel, 360 deg laser etched timing marks on most dampers and all are SFI Approved. This damper will work well for engines making up to1500 HP on the street or race engines.
Damper is around 12 lbs total weight. Damper is a 7.530", 3 ring style, with 6 serpentine Grooves in the OEM Location and Size. There is a 4 groove AC pulley on the back, made of Alum and it is also OEM Size. Hub has a single 3/16 Keyway, and 3 extra bolt holes to bolt on a Super Charger pulley or other pulley as needed.
These dampers are not used, and never installed. We will occasionally have a Shell get scratched, or a get parts back from plating that doesn't look 100% perfect so instead of scraping the parts, or disassembling the dampers, we will turn the parts into Blems! You will not be dissapointed with this damper as we are more particular than most!"
