Description:

The Car goes in to the shop tomorrow:
I bought the car in Sept 2002 with 37,642 miles
The maintenance records are as follows:

Trans service ( drop the pan, replace filter and gasket ) 37,815 Sept 19 2002
Trans service ( drained twice ) 43, 859 October 11 2003
Trans service 52,961 February 19th 2005
Trans service 56,799 November 12 2005
YANK 3200 SS installed, so 3-4 quarts of new fluid installed with it, 57,470 April 1 2006
Trans service 66,928 Sept 4, 2011

The car currently has just over 75000 miles. I worked at a dealer from 2002-2006 so that's why the services were frequent.

The upper automatic console section and the shifter will be available as well but I will list those separately once they are off of the car.

The trans will be located in Pingree Grove IL ( unless someone wants to meet me @ Speed Inc in Schaumburg The week of Oct 7th ).

There is a B&M 24K cooler that will go along with it as well.
Shifts perfect, fluid is cherry red, THERE IS NO SHIFT KIT OR OTHER MODIFICATIONS TO THE TRANSMISSION

I do not know what these things go for... The converter has to be worth a decent buck. I did/do not floor the car when in 4th gear. The car has about 10-12 1/4 mile passes on it dating back to 2006.
Has not seen more than Sunday cruising since
I am not sure what applications this transmission can be used for... I assume other RWD GM vehicles / trucks or LS swapped RWD vehicles.

Part the converter? Do you happen to know the size of the converter like 10.5” or 11”?

4L60E Input Drum 3-4 Forward Overrun Housing

Rebuilding the 4l60e in my sons 98 Z28 and need to know how to identify whether the Input Drum 3-4 Forward Overrun Housing is a 298mm or a 300mm. How do I check that?

I do not know off hand, I can find out. For now, I would like to sell the converter with the trans. In my opinion, it makes the trans a bit more appealing.

I thank ya but I found out. the 298mm has a "nipple" on the input shaft of the tranny, the 300mm is flat on the end of the input shaft. Just found that out a bit ago.
