I'm looking for a used T56 or T56 magnum. Prefer an LS1 T56 but will consider an LT1 T56 if cheap enough (to make swapping out the input shaft and face plate affordable). It's going behind a mild 350 in an older (automatic) Corvette and the LS1 T56 (or magnum) works because it allows me to use the LS1 internal slave.
Looking to spend around $1500 +/- so I'm not really interested in any high dollar "stage III race prepped" units.

Trans I have a unit that needs to be rebuilt. Gears are fine, bearings feel fine, synchros need replacing. $900 and you provide shipping arrangements. I can ship out of my roommates shop so it's cheaper. I also have a crate for the trans to be shipped in
