Description:

Wanted - (1) Air Vent for Passenger side dash openings, OEM Vent Grille - GM (17997682). These are slightly larger (1-2mm in diameter) than the center console vents (74935) you can get on Amazon and other stores. When I contacted Doorman and they did not have or know of a part number for these vents. I will need both the outer collar and the inner bladed vent section.

Find Mike Morris on Facebook. He's from Florida, has a red fiero in his profile pic. Bought a good bit of stuff from him for my trans am, I'm sure he would have what you need.

To the top, I went to FB, contacted an owner in San Antonio and what was shipped was the interior vent, on the passenger side outboard vent.

Thanks for the reply, below are the images of the opening and a center console vent I received which is apx 1/8 inch (1~2mm) too small in diameter. I used the measurements from the 1 inch starting point to be as accurate as possible. The vent needs to be just above 3 inch in diameter, possibly 3 1/16in to 3 1/8in. I wish the old one hadn't been cracked and broken when I pulled it out, I didn't realize at the time there are 2 or 3 different sized vents for the 3 vent locations in the dash.

Looks to be just shy of 3 3/16 in opening

I didn't get a good angle on this, but looks to very close to 3 3/16 in

Vent I have is 2 7/8 in

For reference

As a reference the 2 7/8 in vent in 3 3/16 in opening there is about a 1/8 in gap, the teeth on the sides of the vent cannot fill the opening's indents from the old vent. This vent goes in and out too easy.
