Pm sent. Im gunna ditch both my silver blade 90mm ls2 I think. Tuner and I thinkn the GM 87mm mite be better for my dual dbw crossram set up on a 427ci.

The LS3 TB is much more reliable, more readily available and less expensive AND it is a direct bolt on replacement.

The gold blade TB will not work. I went this route and any time I go WOT the car will go into safe mode.

Then you probably have a problem not related to the TB.

I've had a LS3 TB on my LS2 for over a year now and have had no problems at all. Direct bolt on, no tuning required to make it work. I went through three LS2 TBs which all caused random limp mode issues. Hasn't happened once since the LS3 TB went on.
