nastyiroc is online now

  • Price
    $20 - $40
  • Location Willowbrook, IL, 60561, USA
  • Condition New
Description:

Seeing if anyone has a new OEM trans dipstick tube laying around. I swapped my stall a few years back and never got the bolt on the back of the head reinstalled. Had a buddy look at it and said the tube looked tweaked, before I take it to a shop and waste their time with a bent tube figured I would try and find one laying around somebody didn't use, or see if anyone on here is a GM parts guy and can source me one left in the country. Thanks a ton and if you have one please PM me.

I've also been looking for one. Looks like Hawk's has a new/repro set of both the tube/dipstick.

Do V6 ones fit? I thought they had different part numbers too.

My original was plastic.. and it ended with the expected mess..
At least the Jegs one is metal.. Mine is in a Jeep swap so I have zero cares about being original.

Sorry mines not new , it was off of a 01 car full drivetrain was pulled in 2006. The transmission has been wrapped in a baggy. As to fitment I'd have to dig into it to be certain it was an assumption that it would fit

Yeah Hawks can be hit or miss on their stuff... I'm trying to buy a parts car to do it but may end up buying from Hawks just to update everyone here.
Lmk what you end up doing as I'm in the same boat.

I think I am just going to wait until someone finds a NOS one laying around or works at a chevy dealer and finds one hiding in a warehouse somewhere, unless hawks bought them all up and is just naming them under their brand.
