Description:
Up for sale is my beloved Cadillac CTS-V. It runs perfectly. I've owned it for over 5 years and enjoyed every single one of them. I have a clean title in my name and it's never been in an accident.
This is basically a four door corvette with a 6 speed manual transmission which makes it an absolute blast to drive. The 2006-2007 CTS-V's received the updated 6.0 LS2 engine, a stronger diff, standard sunroof, and more. HP/Torque are the same but there's a lot more area under the curve. This engine makes power everywhere and loves to rev. These years of CTS-V's are extremely hard to find and are becoming increasingly valuable. I won't make the elevator pitch beyond this but if you'd like to read more I'd recommend looking up an ad for a first gen CTS-V on bringatrailer.
I have an extensive collection of service records which I've copied into a Google Sheet that can be provided upon request. All maintenance is up to date and all common big-ticket items have been addressed. To name a few from the last 5 years:
- Clutch (and master, slave, pilot bearing, rear main seal)
- water pump
- drive and accessory belts
- drive and accessory pulleys and tensioners
- thermostat
- engine mounts
- trans mounts
- shift bushings
- diff mounts/bushings
- alternator
- spark plugs
Mods: Creative steel short throw shifter, electronic exhaust cutouts, aftermarket muffler. Completely stock otherwise.
Generally, the car is in great condition. There's no major dents, no rust, no fading panels, etc. That's not to say it's absolutely perfect. It's closing in on 20 years old and has 122,000 miles so it looks great from 10 feet but you'll notice small chips and minor scratches up close. The interior has some common wear and tear but nothing terrible.
I'm selling the car because it's not as fun for me as it used to be. I own a 911 Turbo now as well and while I love my Caddy the turbo just takes the cake! Additionally, I'm getting married, trying to buy a house, start a family, and more so I'd get something a little newer, less expensive to maintain, and better on gas.
I'm open to any and all questions or comments. Reach out any time.
Thanks!

Great car for a road trip, too. Cruises down the highway quite happily all day and it has a super long 6th gear. Road trip MPGs are like 23ish? Something like that. It'll take 87 octane as well if you end up in some random small town gas station though I always put 93 in it if I can.
Tons of room as well. Fold down rear seats, leg room, and a huge trunk. I can even fit 8 foot 2x4's in and close the trunk. Such a great car.
Bring the missus, too! It's got dual zone climate control and heated seats!
Feel free to drop me a PM and we can talk over the phone if you'd like.
tl;dr: It would be fine driving back to FL.
