1998 ls1 aluminum block main caps. Powdered forged iron i believe or metal. i was told same as 4.8,5.3 and 6.0 main caps. machine shop may have to align line hone and shave sides or whichever to get them to fit perfect with main bolts. Caps labeled 1 2 3 4 5.
