Honestly, by the time you find someone near you, just find a good brand that has a cheaper price.. I ditched my factory WS6 wheels from my 98 WS6 years ago cuz needed lots more rubber in the rear and found a set of like new take-off 2012-13 C6 wheels near mint for $200 locally. Still running 275 (35.18) up front, but 305.30.19s in rear (12.5in wide rubber). Just bought new rear tires off wally world.com for $136 each with free s&h.. Tires are Atturo AZ850. Good good reviews. I haven't thrown them on yet cuz still got meat on my Pirelli PZero's.. But tires do not run smaller like Nitto's do. They look nice. Bulky, blocks for the tread of the shoulder's. When cheapest named brand tire of that size being General's at the price of 1 being what I just paid for this pair.. I can't complain. I normally buy used tires bc my car eats rear tires being t56, 4.10s and makes 430whp.. Def wears down the rubber faster driving normal vs back when was just a bolt-on car with LS6 top end. But not jiat needing the wider rubber vs the 285.40.17s I ran on my WS6 wheels.. Finding locally any 275 or 285.40.17s used tires are just becoming more and more scarce to find in the last few years. Most modern muscle come with 20in wheels.. And can find tires for 20's all day long... 17s.. Nope! And 255.50.16's for my IROC.. Dreaming lol..

So might be time to look for a cheap set of C6 wheels if you DD your car like I do. Burn up tires that you can find easier that are used vs buying new to save money down the road. And if its also a car you take to weekend meets/shows, swap your factory 17s on... Just a food for thought. It's what I do. I've owned 3rd and 4th gens since I was 17. Now 39.. And have both my 85z28-iroc from high school (2002) and my 02 SLP Camaro (left over found hiding in the back of Chevy dealer in March of 2003).. Have had couple other LS1 Z28's over the years til I got my 1st bird ever. Cuz price was too good to pass up for a t56 when I got stationed at Pendleton in 2010.. So owning 5 GM muscle cars + 2 GM trucks at the moment.. I find ways to keep long term costs down..
Hopefully, maybe you get some brainstorming in or follow what I do to save money so you can spend it elsewhere 😁
