Cloyes Hex-A-Just Timing Set 9-3158A is for 3-bolt, 24X GM LS engines. LS1, LS6, early-LS2. 5.3, 6.0, LM7, LQ4 etc. This is a 1X cam gear.
This timing set was taken out of the box and checked for fitment on the cam in the block. It fits perfectly, but I needed a 4X cam gear so was not able to use this set. It is brand NEW. It was wrapped up and sitting on the shelf since.
This will bolt to any LSx engine with a 3-bolt camshaft. It will only work with Gen 3 electronics and very early gen 4. Will work with P01, P59, 0411, Red/Green, Green/Blue PCMs as well as E40. Will also work with Holley or Haltech. It will NOT work with 06-up E38 or E67 ECMs (aka LS3 type).
It has a Hex-adjust for the cam gear and also 3 position adjustability at the crank gear. Billet steel gears. Has a Torrington bearing for smooth operation.
