I tried to pull my set off again to no avail. That 3M tape is strong. When you pop out your stock plastic piece you will see a little lip there, which is where the lip on these sit.

Can you mold in a couple small tabs like the OE inserts, so they will simply snap into place?

The mold would be crazy to make them with tabs. Trust me, they dont come off.

I received my set today. The quality looks great. I can't install them and take any pictures right now as my car is at the shop.

When I installed my set, I only put four small pieces of 3M. One on each side, instead of all around. They are still securely held on and hopefully will be easier to remove, if I ever decide to do so. The pieces I cut were maybe 3/4" long and 1/4" wide.

My set was shipped with the 3M tape already applied.

I like it. The only thing I might like more is if the deep part was bigger than the holes in the fender. I guess what I'm trying to say is could you make it where the flat part couldnt be seen? It would look like the factory hole was just deeper.

You could be the first!! I can send you a set without tape on it, and you can put them on and see if you like them if you want.

Yea I'd like to see them on white too. Carbon on white is super sexy imo. So any white cars that want to take me up on that offer just shoot me a pm. You can pay me after you decide to keep them and get us a pic!! Or if you dont like them just send em back.

Hey jenson, did you ever see my post? Just wondering if it was possible, it seems like this tweak would make it look alot better.

How much would you charge for a one off of my idea? It seems like it would sell very well if it looks as good as it does in my head...

Maybe I'm the only one but seeing the flat part behind te stock hole makes it flow worse with the lines of the car

No I didnt sorry. So you want it to basically be a very large hole? Cutting out all of the carbon behind the mounting flange?

No sorry, imagine your design, but make the mounting flange open larger.I like your design, keep it the same, but make the mounting flange the same size as the opening so the body hole transistions to your carbon piece smoothly.

I think seeing the carbon piece start flat and then recess in messes with the body lines. But if the two pieces openings were the same size in the same place it would look like it came factory that way.
