First Time At The Track!-Milan Took the TA to the track for my first time ever racing!
I have a 1998 Trans Am A4 stock 3:23 gears- with SLP Catback, P&P Throttle Body, P&P MAF, Free Ram Air Mod and *Lead Foot Mod.* hehe
Just ported and polished the maf and did free ram air mod at my buddys last night and was amazed at how it actually increased my throttle response how it did.
Using stock pretty bald street tires, and it has 145k on the odometer! (going to be about 55 degrees today)
reaction was .31
60ft was 2.00
1/8th was 8.5
1/4 was 13.18 @109.56MPH
I think this was pretty good considering I've never done it... and it was pretty cold and I spun a bit.
All in all it was WAY faster than I thought it would be.... Even with the ses light on and a little idle surge it still ran in the 13s.
Did I mention the last tune up that was done was at 66k miles by the previous owner.... and I bought it at about 136k miles... so will a tuneup help? I have NGK TR-55's ready to put in I just need time to!
